Pacifica Pain Management

Pacifica Pain Management Services (PPM) has been in operation for over 23 years. We are a team of medical and other health care professionals who are dedicated to improving the health of chronic, intractable, benign pain syndromes using safe and effective pain management treatments which have been verified through scientific research and extensive clinical practice. Our staff is highly experienced and represents many specialties.

Our professional offices are on the campus of St. Helena Hospital in Deer Park, California in Napa Valley. Our address is 6 Woodland Road, St. Helena, California 94574.

PPM is the professional services component offering management and treatment at both the hospital and Cold Springs out-patient, residential treatment center. PPM admits all 26 day pain patients onto a medical unit of the hospital for initial evaluation and stabilization prior to commencing the residential out-patient phase of the intensive four week program at Cold Springs. Our 14 day pain patients usually skip hospitalization and go directly to our residential out-patient program at Cold Springs.

We provide "seamless" and highly managed transitions between the in-patient and residential out-patient phases of the program. There is complete continuity of care with the same staff providing all clinical services during the in-patient and residential out-patient phases of treatment. Pacifica and Cold Springs are owned and operated by G. Mills, Ph.D. and St. Helena Hospital is separately owned by Adventist Health Corporation.
