Gary Mills, Ph.D., is the founder and director of the Pain Management Program. He is a licensed psychologist specializing in Pain Management, psychotherapy, behavioral medicine and chemical dependency. He received his Master's in Psychology from San Francisco State College and his PhD in General Experimental Psychology from the University of Ottawa. He holds a Diplomate from the American Academy of Pain Management and is a member of the American Psychological Association, the American Pain Society and the International Association for the Study of Pain. |

Jonathan Wheeler, M.D., serves as medical director for Pacifica’s Pain Management Program. Dr. Wheeler obtained his medical degree and served his residency at Loma Linda University with a specialization in family medicine. He opened his private practice in the Napa Valley in 1992 and is Board Certified in Family Medicine. He has experience in addiction medicine and served as the medical director of Crutchers’ alcohol and drug treatment program in Deer Park prior to joining Pacifica. |

Bruce F. Singer, Psy.D., is the Director of Case Management and a licensed psychologist with specialties in chemical dependency, chronic pain, and mindfulness-based relapse prevention and pain management. He is a graduate of Pepperdine University and was trained at Tarzana Treatment Centers in Los Angeles and at Kaiser Permanente’s Chemical Dependency Recovery Program in Oakland. His work on mindfulness for relapse prevention has been published in Addiction Professional. |

Jennifer Golick, M.F.T., is the Director of After Care and a licensed marriage and family therapist with a specialty in chronic pain management. A graduate of Sonoma State University’s graduate program in counseling psychology, she practiced with the Family Services of Napa Valley for 8 years prior to joining Pacifica Pain Management in 2008. |

Dr. Jennifer Deir, N.D., is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor who practices family Naturopathic Medicine in Napa. She has practiced in a variety of clinical settings in the U.S. and Canada and makes regular appearances on local radio to discuss the benefits of integrative medicine. She utilizes nutrition, supplements, herbal and homeopathic medicines to help people reach a state of balanced health. At Pacifica’s Cold Springs treatment facility, Dr. Deir provides menu oversight and nutritional assessment. |

Darren Inness, B.S., attained a Sports Science Degree from the University of Sunderland UK. In his time in the USA he has completed personal training certifications through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association and National Council on Strength and Fitness. Having always had a passion for health and fitness, Darren specializes in the construction of specific, individualized progressive exercise programs for Pacifica’s patients, with the goals of strengthening, reconditioning, and building greater flexibility. |

Daphne Hartley, OTR, is an Occupational Therapist specializing in adult physical rehabilitation. With 26 years of experience in Occupational Therapy and over 10 years working with Pacific Pain Clinic patients she provides training in self care management, proper body mechanics and back protection principles. She enjoys seeing the patients go from medication dependence to self care independence. |

Susie Dillman, CMT, has worked in massage therapy thirteen years. Her medical massage training has given her multiple modalities to suit the specialized needs of each client. She believes in self-help techniques including acupressure for headaches, insomnia, and side effects of detox, and instructs patients in stretching to reclaim movement. She practices gardening and dancing to help achieve ultimate health and well-being. |

Marc Golick is a graduate of the Napa Valley Cooking School and has been a chef for over 13 years at such fine restaurants as Pinot Blanc, Mustards Grill, and Villagio Inn & Spa. He has worked closely with Dr. Deir to create healthy, anti-inflammatory, low fat, organic meals for Pacifica patients based on his philosophy that food does not have to be fancy but it does have to be good. Marc instructs patients how to cook and provides them with seasonal recipes to use at home. |
